GEOTHERMAL
SYSTEMS
THE RANGE OF GEOTHERMAL SYSTEMS
Geothermal energy is the heat produced by the Earth’s crust, available at a constant temperature (from 14°C to 20°C). This is renewable, free and inexhaustible energy. The FIORINI geothermal systems transfer the geothermal renewable energy from the earth to your home.
Fiorini geothermal heating systems are made up of: GEO heat pumps, intended to be used in the traditional way with probe or stratum, and the IANUS system, which combines the geothermal heat pump with photovoltaic panels (PVT).
FIORINI geothermal systems make use of the Galileus control unit, software developed by Fiorini to coordinate all the energy sources (heat pump, solar power, integrated water heater, etc.) and to manage all the devices in the system (underfloor heating, high temperature system, DHW production, mechanical ventilation system, etc.).
ADVANTAGES
- Complete energy autonomy
- Independence from fossil fuels
- Zero environmental impact
- Reduced maintenance
- Savings of up to 70% on bills
HOW IT WORKS
A geothermal heating system, using the GEO heat pump, transfers heat from the Earth by using the temperature of the heat transfer fluid (water or water/glycol) which flows through the probes.
This happens thanks to the work done by the compressor powered exclusively by electrical energy. The heat stored by the fluid is made available for heating and to produce domestic hot water.
By inverting the cycle during summer, the GEO heat pump can cool the house by transferring heat from indoors to the earth.
These processes are particularly efficient: with 1 kW of electrical energy used, up to 5 kW of thermal energy can be produced. The efficiency is also guaranteed through the entire year, in contrast to machines that exchange thermal energy with the air.
