CASE HISTORY: The custom hydronic kit, compact and that never stops

Here is the HPT made by Fiorini and intended for the cooling of a data centre.

What is the key feature of a data centre cooling system? Easy: it must never stop!

Indeed, because servers are always active, day and night, and overheating due to a possible shutdown of the systems is in this case one of the main dangers to avoid. This is why Fiorini Industries has designed and built a custom HPT hydronic kit, consisting of a 3000L tank., 3 pumps of 30KW each and two inverters always running, so that one can provide a back-up in case the first stops.

A project in which to combine the compactness of the product’s layout and its reliability in terms of operational continuity represented the main challenge for Fiorini’s designers.

A challenge that was successfully overcome in the testing phase of the kit’s electrical panel, which took place in the presence of the customer, who, given the importance of the desired product, wanted to personally attend the performance tests.
