The Astino Abbey, dating back to the beginning of 1100, is a fascinating building in the Bergamo area, situated among wooded hills filled with ancient cultures and botanical gardens.
Throughout its history, the Abbey has represented a crossroads between art, history, religion, landscape, and fine food and wine. After extensive restoration work which is still under way, it has now been revived to become the site of various cultural, educational and entertainment initiatives.
An energy requalification project was also called for to support these new activities, so AG Termoidraulica, the company in charge of fulfilling this task, selected Fiorini products to create the HVAC system.
The heart of the Astino Abbey is, therefore, a gasketed heat exchanger, two VKG-HC inertial storage tanks for “HOT/COLD” systems and a flexy insulated storage tank with an inspection hatch for domestic hot water. These are products that guarantee all the quality required to enhance a such a “magical” place.
