CASE HISTORY: Two hydronic kits become one. Fiorini creates one skid for a fruit and vegetable storage system.

Fiorini has used its HPT and HP kits to create the chiller and hydronic part of a system to regulate the temperature of cells used to store fruit and vegetables.

Fiorini’s HPT and HP kits are hydronic kits designed to respond to these types of requirements and reduce the set-up time of conditioning and refrigeration systems. The challenge presented by this particular order was dictated by the need to create a special HPT kit which also included an HP section in the same module, whilst attempting to reduce the overall dimensions as far as possible to make it easier to transport to the destination: a system located in Armenia.

So, Fiorini designed and produced a skid with a single kit, divided, however, into two semi-units which included the high-capacity tanks inside it, along with a multi-pump unit for the chiller and multi-pump unit for the system.

The strategy in designing the kit as two assembled semi-units, the tank part and pump part, made it possible to simplify the logistics operations and, once delivered, easier to install and connect the unit to the system.
