CASE HISTORY: Fiorini builds a skid to manage the cooling of a bottling centre in Nigeria.

Fiorini put its skills at the service of a well-known international company in charge of designing and building the cooling system of a large bottling centre located in Nigeria.

Analysing the project with the customer, Fiorini proposed to use a skid instead of the separate tanks and pumps requested by the client, underlining how a pre-assembled unit was more suitable to effectively meet the needs of the project.

The supplied system, a 3000 L skid, was designed and developed according to the geometry, dimensions, connections, pressure, and calculation codes provided by the client, in order to manage the chilled water circulation dedicated to cooling the components and environments of a bottling centre in Nigeria.

Another challenge we faced was delivery logistics. The customer requested to prepare an ad hoc marine packaging, so as to protect the machine during transport to its destination. So we made a special wrapping, using heat-shrink bags to wrap the skid before loading it onto the container.

A project that highlights how Fiorini can be much more than just a component manufacturer, playing the role of a partner who, when necessary, can propose solutions to fully express the potential of the designed system.
